Judith "Judy" C. (Jankowski) Murphy

Judith (Judy) C. Murphy (nee Jankowski) of Norwell, MA (Kenmore, NY) passed away peacefully in her home on the night of April 24, 2024 surrounded by her family who deeply loved her. Judy was the beloved wife of 59 years of John J. Murphy, Jr of Norwell, MA (Kenmore, NY). She was predeceased by her parents Joseph F. Jankowski and Dorothy Jankowski (nee Swider) of Kenmore, NY. She was the devoted and loving mother of Mary Colleen Murphy (Paul Conboy) of Scituate, MA, Karen Murphy-Fitch (Brandon Fitch) of Scituate, MA, John Murphy (Erin Murphy) of Spring City, PA, and Michael Murphy (Kristin Gratton) of Scituate, MA. She will be deeply missed and adoringly remembered by her six grandchildren Kathleen Mulheren (nee Tobin) (Wyatt Mulheren) of Rumson, NJ (Marshfield, MA), Shaelyn Tobin of Marshfield, MA, Daniel Tobin of Marshfield, MA, Brendan Tobin of Marshfield, MA, Finn Murphy of Scituate, MA and Liam Fitch of Scituate, MA. Her family will never forget her most endearing qualities: her attention to detail for the “grandest event” of every year - Christmas, her passion for Michael Jackson, her genuinely kind, caring and gentle nature, her most offensive swear word “CRUMB”, her hilarious sense of humor, her loyalty and ability to vault a secret as promised “for all of her days”, her request for a tattoo at the age of 78, and her tiny stature yet enormous presence in all of our lives at the very center of our family. A private family service will take place in Kenmore, NY.
